Adventist Health Columbia Gorge, a longstanding provider in the region since 1901, offers a range of healthcare services including a 49-bed hospital, medical offices, home health services, and a birthing center.
Responsibilities
- Provides behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment, focusing on emotional, mental, and substance abuse disorders.
- Develops and implements comprehensive treatment plans and interventions for patients and their families.
- Engages in crisis intervention, individual, marital, family, and group therapy sessions.
- Participates in multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic care and support.
- Documents assessment plans, interactions, and interventions according to departmental and hospital guidelines.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (certifications may require a Bachelor's degree): Required
- Master's Degree in counseling or equivalent combination of education/experience: Preferred
- Three years' experience, including crisis intervention, individual and group therapy: Preferred
- Experience in working with behavioral health clients, providing direct assessment, diagnosis formulation, treatment planning, and intervention: Preferred
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC): Required

Pay
The estimated base pay for this position is $73,717 to $110,575. Additional individual compensation may be available through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
