Behavioral Consultant- Therapist- Masters Level
Overview
Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavioral Consultant / Mobile Therapist to join our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) team. This role provides the opportunity to deliver therapeutic services directly in the environments where children live, learn, and grow. You will play a critical role in helping children and families build skills, improve functioning, and achieve long-term success through individualized, community-based care.
Position Summary
The Behavioral Consultant / Mobile Therapist provides assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for children and families in community-based settings. This role focuses on delivering individualized, strength-based care that supports emotional and behavioral growth. Services are provided in homes, schools, and community settings, requiring flexibility and strong collaboration with caregivers, educators, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct functional behavioral assessments and clinical evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide individual and family therapy aligned with treatment goals
Deliver services in home, school, and community environments
Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary team members
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Participate in treatment team meetings and case coordination
Provide guidance and support to caregivers and support systems
Qualifications
Candidates Must Meet One Of The Following:
A licensed psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker
A Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) with a graduate degree including clinical practicum
A graduate degree with at least 1 year of full-time direct mental health experience with children
A graduate degree with a completed clinical practicum and at least 9 clinical credit hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
An active, unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.)
Valid driver’s license
Ability to travel locally to client service locations
Preferred Experience
Experience working with children and families in community-based or IBHS settings
Strong background in behavioral interventions and child-focused therapy
Ability to collaborate effectively with schools and community providers

Work Location
This is an in-person, community-based role in Middleburg, PA (17842). Candidates must be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to starting.
