Masters Level Therapist
Position Summary
Provide direct services to individuals, families, and groups through an evidence-based Coordinated Specialty Care program, specifically CBT-P and case management.
Create, maintain, update and implement treatment plans according to the needs of the young people.
Provide psychoeducation to young people and their families related to psychosis in an individual and/or group format.
Care coordination given by collaborating with First Episode Psychosis team members and multidisciplinary professionals to provide and facilitate care in accordance with policies and procedures, philosophy, and objectives of the Program Model and of Child and Family Focus.
Empower young people to set and achieve recovery goals and empower young people to increase self-advocacy.
Provide program outreach to the community to decrease the duration of untreated psychosis and to stimulate referral sources.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Human Service or related field including psychology, counseling or social work
- Experience implementing CBT
- Experience working with transition aged youth (15-30)
- Experience working with Schizophrenia Spectrum population
- Crisis Management Experience
