About the role

ViaQuest Community Solutions (VCS) offers a range of services including home and community-based support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Behavioral Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping these individuals thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to promote positive behavior change
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document progress and communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders
  • Stay updated on best practices and research in behavioral health

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Current license to practice as a Behavioral Consultant in Indiana
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for making a difference in people’s lives

Qualifications

  • Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavioral health
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records and other relevant software

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
