About the role

As a Behavioral Support Clinician, you will provide clinical behavioral support to adults with intellectual, developmental, and behavioral health needs across residential, vocational, and in-home programs throughout the Greater Danbury area.
Responsibilities
- Develop individualized Behavior Support Plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and Positive Behavior Supports
- Collect, monitor, and analyze behavioral data to evaluate progress and guide treatment recommendations
- Conduct treatment integrity checks and support staff in implementing behavioral interventions effectively
- Provide training, coaching, and behavioral guidance to residential and program staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nurses, therapists, program managers, and family members, to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in intake assessments and support placement recommendations for new individuals entering services
- Assist with transition planning and support individuals in reaching personal and behavioral goals
- Travel between residential group homes and program sites throughout the Greater Danbury area
- Maintain accurate documentation, behavioral reports, and clinical records
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred; Bachelor’s degree with active enrollment in a post-graduate program will also be considered
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injuries required
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and behavioral principles required
- BCBA certification preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
- Experience supporting individuals with behavioral challenges strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

$45,240-$51,240 per year
