Licensed Behavior Consultant (BCBA Preferred)

About the role

This position offers an opportunity to work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. The role involves providing behavior analysis services, including assessment, intervention planning, and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized intervention plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to improve functional behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistent support and progress.
• Provide ongoing training and consultation to staff members and caregivers.
• Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• A BCBA certification or eligibility for certification.
• Experience working with individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
