Behavior Consultant-ABA (BCBA)
Overview
Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. Position Summary
The BCBA is responsible for the assessment, development, and implementation of individualized treatment plans using evidence-based ABA methodologies. This role includes direct client services, staff training and supervision, and collaboration with families, schools, and care teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of care.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement and oversee ABA programming aligned with client goals
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor client progress and outcomes
Provide direct services and clinical oversight to clients and support staff
Train, supervise, and coach staff and team members on ABA methodologies
Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reports, and treatment updates
Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and insurance requirements
Participate in treatment team meetings, including IEP meetings as needed
Develop strategies to ensure continuity of care across settings
Support crisis interventions and provide guidance during critical incidents
Deliver trainings, workshops, and clinical consultation as needed
Qualifications
Required:
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Counseling, or related field
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
Experience providing ABA services to children and adolescents
Strong data collection, analysis, and documentation skills
Valid driver’s license
One or more of the following (preferred):
Licensed as a behavior specialist
Graduate-level certification in behavior analysis
Relevant graduate degree with experience in mental health direct services
Completion of clinical practicum with relevant population
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to obtain required background clearances (Act 33, Criminal History, FBI Act 73)
Ability to pass Safe Crisis Management training
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
