About the role
The Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops and supervises behavior intervention plans tailored to children with autism, based on medical necessity. They assess learners using tools like ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK, and Vineland, and create individualized goals for diverse settings including center-based, community, in-home, and telehealth.
Responsibilities
- Monitor progress and provide direct therapy when needed
- Conduct parent trainings
- Supervise staff and support training initiatives
- Participate in meetings with parents and stakeholders
- Emphasize staff development and performance reviews
- Maintain a supportive work environment
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field
- BCBA certification
- Michigan licensure
- Experience working with youth with autism
