About the Role
A Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will develop and supervise behavior intervention programs, create individualized treatment plans for children with autism, and monitor progress to ensure effective treatment.
Responsibilities
- Assess, supervise, and evaluate learners using tools like ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK, and other assessments.
- Design and oversee personalized goals across various settings, including in-center, community, in-home, and telehealth.
- Create behavior intervention plans, supervise their implementation, and provide direct therapy when needed.
- Conduct parent training and support staff development through training, performance reviews, and ongoing education.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field (Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred).
- BCBA certification from the BACB.
- Current State of Michigan Behavior Analyst Licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year working as a BCaBA or under BCBA supervision.
- At least 2 years of experience with youth diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
