Behavior Analyst

About the role

The Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops and supervises behavior intervention plans tailored to children with autism, based on medical necessity. They assess, monitor progress, and modify treatment programs across various settings, including center-based, community, in-home, and telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Assess learners using tools like ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, and others
• Create individualized goals and provide direct therapy
• Conduct parent training and supervise staff to ensure effective implementation of interventions
• Supervise program implementation and provide feedback
• Train and support staff and parents
• Participate in meetings and develop staff through performance reviews and training

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related field
• BCBA certification and state licensure
• Minimum of 1 year supervised experience and 2 years working with youth with autism
