About the role
Develop and supervise behavior intervention programs for children with autism, creating tailored treatment plans based on medical necessity. Monitor progress, supervise staff, and provide direct therapy when needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and create individualized goals
- Train parents and staff on behavior intervention techniques
- Supervise staff development and support ongoing training efforts
- Participate in meetings related to treatment planning and progress
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field, preferably Applied Behavior Analysis
- BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Michigan Behavior Analyst Licensure
- Minimum 1 year of supervised experience as a BCaBA or in training
- At least 2 years of experience working with youth with autism spectrum disorder
