About the role
The Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops and supervises behavior intervention plans and programs for children with autism, based on medical necessity. They assess, monitor, and evaluate learners using tools like ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, and others, creating individualized goals for various settings, including center-based, community, in-home, and telehealth.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapy and conduct parent trainings
- Oversee program implementation and supervise staff
- Participate in meetings and support staff development through training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field (preferably Applied Behavior Analysis)
- BCBA certification and Michigan licensure
- Experience working with youth with autism
- Supervised hours as a BCaBA or trainee
