Before and After School Teacher (Part-Time)

About the role

You will lead, mentor, and model behaviors for less experienced teachers, implement tailored curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and play.

Responsibilities

• Partner with parents and staff to ensure high-quality care and education
• Support center goals related to enrollment and accreditation
• Build positive relationships with families, community contacts, and licensing authorities

Qualifications & Skills

• Must have outstanding customer service and organizational skills
• Possess or be willing to obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC requirements
• Meet state-specific qualifications
• Preferred candidates will have 2-3 years of early childhood education experience
• Have a bachelor's degree in the field
• Have CPR/First Aid certification
• Able to lift 40 pounds
• Good communication skills in English are essential
