Before and After School Teacher - Part Time

About the Role

Support out-of-school time and community programs as an Early Childhood Education Teacher, fostering a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers by modeling behaviors and providing feedback
• Implement curriculum tailored to each child's individual needs
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for learning and play
• Partner with parents to ensure high-quality care and education
• Collaborate with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals
• Build positive relationships with families, community contacts, licensing authorities, and partners

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or NAEYC candidacy
• Preferred: 2-3 years of early childhood experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
• Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and state-specific qualifications
• Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds and engage in active supervision
• Proficiency in English for effective communication
