Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers, modeling behaviors and providing feedback
- Implement curriculum tailored to individual children's needs
- Create a safe space for play and learning
- Partner with parents to ensure quality care and education
- Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet goals
- Build positive relationships with families, staff, licensing authorities, and community partners
Qualifications & Skills
- Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
- Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC candidacy
- PREFERRED: Approved state trainer, 2-3 years early childhood experience, bachelor's in Early Childhood Education
- Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and state-specific qualifications
- Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds and engage in outdoor/indoor activities
- Proficient in English communication
