About the Role

This position contributes to the success of Ralph Lauren Coffee by providing exceptional customer service, ensuring prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. All team members are expected to model and act in accordance with Ralph Lauren Corporation policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders, process cash and credit card transactions.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications and customer requests.
• Serve prepared foods and pastries.
• Deliver customer service that exceeds expectations by responding to needs with urgency.
• Multitask and remain calm during high-volume periods to maintain store standards.
• Maintain store appearance, ensuring products are stocked and areas are cleaned and sanitized.
• Keep equipment operating by following instructions.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to organization standards and sanitation regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the store manager regarding store, employee, and customer needs.
• Share customer feedback with managers and recommend new menu items.
• Maintain a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Ensure regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a barista or in a related position.
• NYC Food Handler’s Certification.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.

• Proficiency with various POS systems is preferred.

Pay

Salary range: $15 - $21.13 hourly.

Flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
