Barista, Ralph's Coffee, Rockefeller

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and takes orders
• Processes cash and credit card transactions
• Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications and the customers’ requests
• Serves prepared foods & pastries
• Delivers customer service to exceed customers' expectations by responding to their needs with a sense of urgency
• Maintains a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Maintains a clean and comfortable store environment by stocking products appropriately, cleaning, and sanitizing
• Communicates effectively with store manager regarding store, employee and customer needs
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a barista or in a related position
• Demonstrates excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Available to work flexible hours including: Early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/ or holidays
• Able to stand for long periods of time and requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs
• Passionate about Coffee
• A passion for hospitality and guest service
• An outgoing and energetic disposition
• A polished and stylish presence
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with various POS's is Preferred
