About the role

Ralph Lauren Coffee seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of the store.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders
• Process cash and credit card transactions
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications
• Serve prepared foods and pastries
• Respond to customer needs with a sense of urgency
• Maintain a clean and comfortable store environment
• Communicate effectively with store manager regarding store, employee, and customer needs
• Recommend new menu items based on customer feedback
• Maintain a positive attitude towards guests, customers, co-workers, etc.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a barista or in a related position
• NYC Food Handler’s Certification
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Basic math skills
• Able to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Passionate about coffee and hospitality
