About the role

Ralph Lauren Coffee seeks a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Barista. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and takes orders
• Processes cash and credit card transactions
• Serves hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications and customer requests
• Serves prepared foods & pastries
• Delivers customer service to exceed customers' expectations by responding to their needs with a sense of urgency
• Maintains a clean and comfortable store environment by stocking products appropriately, cleaning, and sanitizing areas
• Maintains equipment operation by following operating instructions
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to organization standards and sanitation regulations
• Communicates effectively with the store manager regarding store, employee, and customer needs
• Communicates customer feedback to managers and recommends new menu items
• Maintains a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a barista or in a related position
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Basic math skills
• Able to stand for long periods of time and lift/carry up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Passionate about coffee
• A passion for hospitality and guest service
• An outgoing and energetic disposition
• A polished and stylish presence
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with various POS systems is preferred
