Banquet Server (Hospitality)

Three Leaf Catering, part of the University of Notre Dame’s Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division, provides event management, hospitality, and customer service across campus.

About the role

The Banquet Server will serve food, pour beverages, and handle guest requests in accordance with Morris Inn methods and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare table service for functions as directed by the Banquet Captain or Lead Banquet Server
• Follow written specifications provided by the events department
• Participate in equipment removal following meal service
• Professionally serve banquet functions, including serving food, pouring beverages, and handling special requests of guests
• Adhere to established guidelines for the safe handling of food
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure equipment is in good working condition

Requirements

• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Able to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours at a time)
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products

Pay

$17.50 per hour plus gratuity.
