Banquet Server

About the Role

As a Banquet Server, you will ensure guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met at meetings and events while circulating the room and performing food and beverage services. This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Responsibilities

• Serving guests while carrying plates of food on trays
• Keeping glasses full, removing each round of plates, and replenishing utensils
• Performing cleaning tasks along with the assembly and breakdown of service
• Cleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops, and floors after each service
• Ensuring a wonderful experience from beginning to end while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
• Helping validate customers' IDs and monitoring all beverage consumption

Requirements

• Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
• Effective in handling workplace problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving issues
• Ability to anticipate the needs of guests and acknowledge their requests
• Ability to work well in stressful situations
• Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent service
