Banquet Server (Hospitality)

About the role
The Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations. As a Banquet Server at Three Leaf Catering, you’ll serve food, pour beverages, and handle guest requests in accordance with Morris Inn methods and service standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare table service for functions as directed by the Banquet Captain or Lead Banquet Server
- Follow written specifications provided by the events department
- Participate in equipment removal following meal service
- Professionally serve banquet functions, including serving food, pouring beverages, and handling special guest requests
- Adhere to established guidelines for the safe handling of food
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure equipment is in good working condition
Requirements
- Ability to manage time effectively with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours at a time)
- Knowledge of food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products
Pay
$17.50 per hour plus gratuity.
