About the role

Provides executive operational leadership for the physician practices, practice-based diagnostic treatments, and related ambulatory programs comprising Brain & Spine Care. In partnership with the Physician Executive, Exec Champion, Ops Executive, & institute leadership, develops & executes strategic, operational, financial, and performance improvement plans that strengthen operations, support continued growth, & advance an integrated, high-performing neuro physician enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains broad accountability for practice performance, including access, growth, financial results, revenue cycle, workforce, patient experience, operational quality, capacity, productivity, & standardization
  • Serves as the principal ops liaison between Brain & Spine, BHMG, Strategic Planning, Finance, Rev Cycle, Managed Care, T&D, Informatics, Quality, Patient Experience, Consumer Access, Marketing, & other partners
  • Develops scalable operating models, implements new programs & services, & ensures consistent policies, workflows, & performance expectations across Miami, Palm Beach, Broward, Monroe, & other BH markets
  • Through disciplined execution, strong physician partnership, & responsible stewardship, advances patient access, operational excellence, financial sustainability, and the continued growth of Brain & Spine Care

Qualifications

  • Master's in Business or Health Administration required
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to organize time and priorities effectively
  • Extensive knowledge regarding financial, operational, research, and physician practice management, business planning, and project management etc.
  • Ability to identify issues and opportunities and initiates plans to address
  • Ability to work inside a highly complex, matrixed organization and across a diverse array of community provider partners in the interest of promoting high quality, cost effective patient care
  • Ability to develop a common vision for diverse constituents, to communicate effectively, to sell ideas, and take ownership and responsibility for activities
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters discreetly
  • Ability to conceptualize and conduct complex analysis (financial and marketing)
  • Ability to appropriately evaluate all aspects of a situation and to independently make appropriate and timely decisions as well as negotiate effectively with outside entities as well as within BHSF constituencies
  • Excellent interpersonal/communications skills and a good command of English language, including medical and scientific terminology, excellent writing skills
  • Minimum experience required: 10 years required
