Neuropsychologist, MNI NeuroPsych - Office, FT, 8:00am - 4:30pm

About the role

The Neuropsychologist will enhance the Miami Neuroscience Institute patient experience and strengthen clinical programs in spine, pain management, concussion, and postoperative recovery. They will collaborate with psychiatry, neurosurgery, and neurology teams to evaluate and address cognitive, emotional, and psychological responses related to illness.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate cognitive, emotional, and psychological responses of neurological patients
• Conduct standard psychological assessments
• Work closely with the spine care program and a new planned concussion clinic
• Act as a patient/family advocate in negotiating healthcare systems and family needs
• Negotiate with physicians and providers for ongoing communications
• Develop standardized testing through a portable electronic interface

Requirements

• Licensed Psychologist
• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
• Internship through an APA accredited site
• Bilingual neuropsychology experience of at least 5 years
• Bilingual psychotherapy experience within the rehabilitation population

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

Skills

• Knowledge of age-specific differences in neurological patient populations
• Experience with standardized testing through a portable electronic interface

Pay

$105,647.55 - $137,341.82 / year depending on experience
