Automotive Store Manager (MOD)

Role Overview: The Store Manager/Manager-on-Deck (MOD) oversees the overall performance of a retail automotive store, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and financial success. Key Responsibilities People Management: Set expectations, communicate goals, coach staff, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure policy compliance. Partner with HR for recruitment and training.Financial Oversight: Analyze business trends, develop plans to maximize sales and profitability, review invoices, and control assets and expenses.Facilities & Maintenance: Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and equipment upkeep. Manage inventory returns and credits. Qualifications & Skills At least two years of management or equivalent experience in the automotive industry.Strong leadership, communication, and team coaching skills.Proven ability to meet sales and profit goals, with experience developing business plans.Preferred background as an automotive technician or similar role.Valid driver’s license and ability to work at least five days including weekends. Compensation & Benefits: $50,000 to $80,000 annually plus bonus and commissions, with a sign-on bonus.
