Role Overview

The Manager-on-Deck (MOD) is responsible for the overall store performance, including financial and operational aspects. Key duties involve establishing exceptional guest services, managing sales and profitability through expense control and human resources, and overseeing store operations to meet targets.

• Establishing exceptional guest services
• Managing sales and profitability through expense control and human resources
• Oversight of store operations to meet targets
• People management: setting expectations, regular communication, coaching, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring policy compliance
• Financials: analyzing trends, developing sales strategies, reviewing invoices, and safeguarding assets
• Facilities: maintaining cleanliness, equipment, and merchandising standards, and managing parts returns

Qualifications

• At least two years of management or relevant automotive experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills for team development
• Proven ability to meet sales and profit goals
• Valid driver’s license; ability to work at least five days including weekends
• Previous automotive technician experience is a plus but not mandatory
