Automotive Store Manager (MOD)

About the role

The Store Manager/Manager-on-Deck (MOD) is responsible for overseeing the overall performance of the store, ensuring maximum sales, profitability, and excellent customer service. They manage daily operations, control expenses, and lead human resources functions including recruiting, training, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Set clear expectations and communicate regularly with staff, holding employees accountable for responsibilities and goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies through meetings and store audits.
• Analyze business trends, develop plans to meet sales and profit targets, and review financial reports to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and equipment condition, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
• Manage inventory, return unused parts, and oversee proper asset controls.

Qualifications

• At least two years of management experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience as an automotive technician is a plus.

Pay

Salary range of $50,000 to $80,000 per year plus bonuses and commissions.

Schedule

Ability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends.
