About the role

The Parts Returns Claim Specialist plays a vital role in the accurate and efficient handling of returned parts within our Wholesale Parts department. This position manages return orders, issues customer credits, and maximizes manufacturer return claims to help reduce scrap. The specialist also supports daily operations by processing parts orders, fulfilling internal dealership requests, handling customer cores, and submitting warranty claims. They collaborate with inside sales to address inventory questions, process returns from drivers, match purchase orders, and maintain bin accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage return orders and issue customer credits
• Maximize manufacturer return claims to reduce scrap
• Support daily operations by processing parts orders, fulfilling internal dealership requests, handling customer cores, and submitting warranty claims
• Collaborate with inside sales to address inventory questions, process returns from drivers, match purchase orders, and maintain bin accuracy
• Unload, transport, and stock parts in the warehouse using equipment such as a wave machine, forklift, and stock chaser
• Submit warranty claims and handle customer cores
• Process parts orders and fulfill internal dealership requests

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
• Pass a pre-employment screening, including a background check, drug screening, physical lift test
