About the role
Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for advanced automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages, and negotiates claims within the limit of authority. The role focuses on MMR claims and requires experience handling liability claims, proficiency in determining coverage through thorough policy review, and strong investigative abilities. Open to candidates in the eastern or central time zones.
Responsibilities
- Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies to handle all aspects of advanced auto claims (coverage, liability, and damages) with discretion and independence.
- Investigates claims involving injuries, reviewing, evaluating, and negotiating basic to moderate injury claims.
- Identifies vehicle body parts and assesses other potential property damage.
- Determines customer needs and meets them using appropriate customer service skills.
- Identifies subrogation or fraud potential and handles accordingly.
- Applies increased experience in the Adjuster II level or rotates into specialty positions (e.g., Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler).
Requirements
- Individuals holding an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments during employment.
- Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team.

Pay
Base compensation offered for this role is:
- Auto Adjuster Cons I: $53,500 - $86,400 annually
- Auto Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 - $93,250 annually
- Auto Adjuster Sr Cons I: $68,500 - $117,700 annually
Total compensation includes base pay plus incentive pay (e.g., commission, bonus) if applicable. Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
