About the role
The Claims Inside Auto Trainee Analyst II investigates and confirms the facts of loss for automobile accidents, determines coverage, liability, damages, and negotiates claims within authority. This role evaluates claim details, determines liability, interprets policy language, and conducts thorough coverage analysis to support claims in the Northeastern states. The ideal candidate will be located in the eastern or central time zone states.
Responsibilities
- Handles basic investigation regarding most aspects of auto claims (coverage, liability, and damages)
- Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
- Applies a basic understanding of systems and technology used within the company
- Partners to determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
- Exhibits basic understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department
- Begins recognizing and identifying body parts of a vehicle and other potential property damage
Requirements
- Experience handling auto claims from investigation through resolution
- Individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments during employment
- Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team

Pay
Base compensation offered for this role is:
- Auto Trainee Adjuster: $20.77/hr. - $29.57/hr.
- Auto Adjuster Analyst III: $50,000 - $74,350 annually
- Auto Adjuster Cons I: $50,000 - $86,400 annually
- Auto Adjuster Cons II: $56,000 - $93,250 annually
- Auto Adjuster Sr Cons I: $68,500 - $117,700 annually
Total compensation includes base pay plus incentive pay (e.g., commission, bonus) if applicable, based on experience and qualifications.
