About the role

Responsible for creating or auditing a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims in either the auto or specialty lines, leading to the proper disposition. This position also involves training, mentoring, controlling quality, and providing technical assistance on material damage claims. This is a field adjuster position in the Cabarrus County, NC area.

Responsibilities

• Possess strong estimating fundamentals to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company.
• Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities in the most complex files across multiple lines.
• Evaluate settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; make decisions on the best option.
• Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines.

Pay

Compensation offered for this role is $28.03 - $42.99 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
