About the role
This is a field-based, territory-specific opportunity supporting Williston, ND or Minot, ND and surrounding areas. We are seeking an Auto Field Appraiser with strong time management skills and proven negotiation skills. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering a positive, customer-focused experience.
Responsibilities
- Possess strong estimating fundamentals to create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company.
- Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities in the most complex files across multiple lines.
- Evaluate settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; make decisions on the best option.
- Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines.
- Provide training, mentoring, quality control, and technical assistance on material damage claims.

Pay
Compensation offered for this role is $28.03 - $42.99 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
