Field Auto Claims Adjuster - National General

About the role

As a Field Auto Claims Adjuster, you will engage with interested prospective customers remotely, focusing on first and third-party material damage claims in auto and specialty lines. You will enjoy competitive compensation with a base salary and uncapped performance-based incentives.

Responsibilities

• Create or audit comprehensive estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims in either the auto or specialty lines leading to proper disposition
• Train, mentor, control quality, and provide technical assistance on material damage claims
• Possess strong estimating fundamentals to handle damages of all severities
• Possess a deep understanding of all policy types written by the company
• Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities in complex files across multiple lines
• Evaluate settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices; make decisions on the best option
• Build master relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines

Requirements

The ideal candidate should bring strong experience in field-based auto damage estimating and be comfortable working independently in the field.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from Field Auto NG NCL Consultant I: $26.49 – $37.50, Field Auto NG NCL Consultant II: $28.03 – $39.42, and Field Auto NG NCL Senior Consultant I: $35.82 – $54.90, based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation includes base salary and incentive pay.
