About the role

You'll carry a generalist civil defense docket defending insurers, corporations, municipalities, and individuals. Responsibilities include:

• Defend matters from inception through resolution
• Manage discovery, depositions, motion practice, and hearings; support and second-chair trials
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Work alongside National Coordinating and Regional Trial counsel teams on complex multi-party litigation

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience
• PA or NJ Bar Admission
• Insurance defense background
• Experience in any combination of the following areas:
  • General Liability, Premises Liability
  • Toxic Torts, Mass Torts
  • Trucking, Transportation
  • Insurance Fraud
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Products Liability, Professional Liability
  • Employment
  • Property Damage
  • Nursing Home Liability, Medical Malpractice
