About the role

Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring high-level of service. Property Managers are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment
  • Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
  • Providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability
  • Completing lease/renewal paperwork to company standards
  • Tracking and evaluating advertising and all client traffic
  • Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team (leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel) to maximize engagement and minimize turnover
  • Driving revenues with thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs
  • Leading by example and instilling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company
  • Supervising day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed
  • Maintaining effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching as necessary
  • Maintaining residents’ files in accordance with company standards
  • Maintaining a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up
  • Managing and maintaining all aspects of overall community budget and finances
  • Working with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are being met
  • Determining leasing opportunities of staff and working on goal setting to improve performance of each staff member
  • Performing any other related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Real Estate License preferred
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience
  • 3+ years of Management experience

Work environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regular travel is required.

Physical demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods. They must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. The employee may also be regularly required to remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time and regularly operate office machinery. Travel may vary in frequency and duration, up to 15% of the time. The employee must demonstrate the ability to exert up to 25 pounds occasionally, frequently, or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Pay

$80,168.40 – $90,000.00
