About the role

The Associate Property Manager is responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, ensuring a high level of service at all times. They are also responsible for building and motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Regional Property Manager with the overall operations of the building.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment.
  • Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
  • Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
  • Completing lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
  • Tracking and evaluating advertising, and all client traffic.
  • Leading by example, instilling, maintaining, and modeling the Cushman & Wakefield mission to be the best national management company.
  • Supervising day-to-day operations of entire on-site team, ensuring that all Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Maintaining effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary.
  • Maintaining residents' files in accordance with company's standards.
  • Maintaining a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up.
  • Managing and maintaining all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
  • Working with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
  • Determine leasing opportunities of staff and work on goal setting; improving the performance of each staff member.
  • Supervising day-to-day operations of team, ensuring that all C&W policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Working with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
  • Be able to manage a team.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience
  • 1+ years of Management experience

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands

  • Stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time.
  • Ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools.
  • Travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions.
  • Remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time.
  • Operate office machinery.

Compensation

$28.05 - $33.00
