Associate Patient Care Coordinator

Primary Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from patients and providers regarding appointments (approximately 60-80 calls a day) and general inquiries
  • Greeting and assist patients in person and by phone, ensuring a positive and compassionate patient experience
  • Schedule appointments, verify insurance eligibility, and obtain required authorizations
  • Register patients accurately by collecting and updating demographic, insurance, and medical information
  • Collect co‑pays and outstanding balances while explaining billing and payment options
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff to coordinate patient flow and resolve questions or concerns
  • Other duties, as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • A High School Diploma/GED
    • 2+ years of customer service experience
    • Basic level of proficiency in MS office

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous experience EMR system
