Associate (Litigation 4th-5th Year)

Location: New York, NY – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Compensation: $310,000 – $365,000 annually.

This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a Legal & Accounting environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters in New York State courts
• Conduct discovery and draft legal pleadings
• Prepare motions and represent clients in court
• Exercise professional judgment in high-pressure situations
• Organize and manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Build and develop a personal practice and network

Requirements

• 5th or 6th year associate level
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in legal research and writing
• Experience in New York State courts and familiarity with CPLR
