Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer of Psychology– School of Behavioral and Social Sciences (Continuous Recruitment)
This is a continuous recruitment for a pool of potential part-time associate lecturer/lecturer/senior lecturer candidates. While there may not be an immediate need in every area, applications are accepted for future opportunities. Teaching assignments are on a per-course, per-semester basis and do not guarantee future assignments. Teaching load ranges between 1-12 credits per semester. Partially remote and remote opportunities may be available.
Responsibilities
- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
About the Department
The psychology department at UW-Stevens Point consists of 12 full-time faculty members who teach at the main campus in Stevens Point, and at branch campuses in Marshfield and Wausau. The program serves approximately 450 psychology majors, including both online and face-to-face students. Students can pursue a Bachelor of Science in psychology or a BS in psychology with a human services concentration. There are approximately 170 minors in psychology and behavioral neuroscience. The department values excellence in undergraduate teaching and provides high-impact practices such as research experience and internships.

Requirements
- PhD, EdD, or PsyD from an accredited college or university (ABD considered)
- Experience with college-level instruction
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with both face-to-face teaching and online instruction
