About the role

We currently have an opportunity for an Associate Account Executive to join our Commercial Lines team in our Pittsburgh, PA office on a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Process lost policy release forms; transmit correspondence to insured and carriers
  • Issue certificates of insurance and evidence of property forms to clients and client representatives upon request
  • Perform billing-related functions such as: premium invoicing, premium financing, reconciliation of commission items with HUB HFC/ARC, and follow-up with clients on past due accounts receivable items
  • Process endorsement requests and secure pricing from carrier if needed
  • Manage account documentation; send documentation to insured; and follow up to ensure it was received and submitted to the carrier
  • Maintain follow-up system with insurance carriers to ensure requests are processed timely
  • Furnish underwriters with additional information as requested
  • Pursue a program for personal and professional development
  • Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by management
  • Provide support to the account management team and Property & Casualty department
  • Daily management of the agency interface system (download) and ensure all transactions are matched so revenue is recorded accurately by month end

Requirements

  • 2-5 years insurance experience
  • Pennsylvania Property/Casualty License or willingness to sit for exam within 1st year of hire date
  • Well organized with an aptitude for details
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to understand and analyze insurance coverages, forms, and policies
  • Work normally scheduled hours and additional time as needed
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, required
  • EPIC proficiency preferred
  • Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
