Assistant Vice President

About the Role

DB USA Core Corporation seeks an Assistant Vice President in Jacksonville, FL to provide Level 2 production support for mission-critical banking applications, ensuring high availability and stability.

Responsibilities

• Support and stabilize production environments using ITIL-based frameworks
• Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and workflow management
• Coordinate disaster recovery (DR) exercises involving failover validation, system restoration, and application resiliency testing
• Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support distributed, cloud-native applications and troubleshoot, monitor, and ensure reliability of production workloads
• Utilize containerization and orchestration technologies including Kubernetes for deployment management and cluster-level troubleshooting
• Utilize enterprise transaction monitoring and financial systems including Actimize, Prime, and Mantas to perform root cause analysis, monitor transaction processing systems, and ensure application compliance
• Perform programming and scripting using Python, Java, SQL, and YAML
• Monitor Red Hat Linux/Unix environments, including performing system diagnostics, log parsing, process and memory management, and execution of OS-level commands to troubleshoot complex production issues
• Support middleware and application server technologies including WebLogic and case management systems for application configuration, performance tuning, and resolution of integration or infrastructure-related issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any) or a related field or equivalent
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in production support

Pay

Salary range: $125,299.00 – $130,000.00 per year.
