About the role

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing and developing a team of associates, ensuring optimal customer experiences, and maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise and plan associates' daily goals and activities to maximize sales and customer loyalty. Ensure all brand standards are met.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve business objectives. Manage team performance and maintain positive relationships.

• 30% Operations: Ensure compliance with company processes, manage inventory, and schedule staff effectively. Follow safety and loss prevention protocols.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and execution.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred

• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred

• Ability to lead or support a team of associates

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
