About the role

Sally Beauty Assistant Managers are responsible for overseeing store operations, supporting the Store Manager, and ensuring optimal customer experiences. They also develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets.

Responsibilities

• 30% Brand: Supervise associates to deliver exceptional client experiences, manage brand standards, and resolve customer issues.

• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams, recruit candidates, and maintain positive relations with associates and managers.

• 30% Operations: Ensure process execution, utilize digital strategies, manage inventory, and adhere to safety protocols.

• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment, protect company assets, and analyze data.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience

• Minimum 1+ year(s) prior management experience

• Ability to lead or support a team

• Effective communication skills

• Scheduling availability to meet business needs

• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required
