About the role

As Assistant Security Manager, you will direct and oversee security operations as defined by leadership, supervising collaborative team members through planning and scheduling of work assignments and performance development.

Responsibilities

• Training team members
• Assigning department schedules
• Ensuring all post positions are filled according to company needs
• Overseeing the timekeeping system
• Ensuring team members punch in and out promptly
• Accurately documenting staff attendance, late arrivals, and overtime
• Recovering, tagging, logging, securing, and inventorying lost and found items; attempting to locate the owner; maintaining an up-to-date log of warnings issued
• Investigating incidents, motor vehicle accidents, and medical situations
• Maintaining an updated log of counterfeit currency recovered and controlled substances found on the property; reporting procedural violations and illegal activity
• Complying with confidentiality regulations regarding all security and administrative information
• May be required to operate a company vehicle

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license; pass a motor vehicle records check and drug test
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with minimum supervision

Qualifications

• Security supervisory, law enforcement, or related experience is beneficial

Pay

Base salary range: $49,500 – $66,800 per year. In addition to base salary, an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance is offered, or a role‑based uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised range reflects what the company is willing to pay; higher pay may be considered only for candidates whose education, training, or experience far exceeds the position’s requirements.

Schedule

Shift work includes days, evenings, on‑call, overnight, holidays, Monday‑Friday evenings as needed, weekends, and 12‑hour shifts.
