University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds, including business enterprises on campus such as dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services, as well as serving as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.

About the role

Temporary, Staff, Non-Exempt, Full Time, Benefited position through 6/30/2027 (appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work, and satisfactory job performance).

Pay

$4,200.00–$4,800.00 per month.

Schedule

40 hours per week. Typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some nights and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Individualized Intervention Programs for clients and parents, adhering to program guidelines of the funding agency under the supervision of the Director or Project Coordinator.
  • Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to funding agencies and parents.
  • Conduct parent interviews, assess clients, program for clients and parents, and prepare progress reports.
  • Plan and implement staff and parent training, including pre-service and in-service training.
  • Provide aid in schedule management for all employees (Counselors, Supervisors, and Behavior Technician Assistants) both in-center and telehealth.
  • Mentor staff as directed and assist with generating performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate and conduct assessments for programming and reporting, including direct observation and parent interviews.
  • Monitor staff to ensure program principles and procedures are followed; advise the Director or Project Coordinator if corrective action is required.
  • Guide and instruct staff to ensure quality services are provided to clients and families; ensure staff provide required data and input in the practice system.
  • Design and update documentation and forms necessary for training, assessment, programming, and reporting to funding agencies and parents.
  • Conduct instructional staff employment interviews and make hiring recommendations to the Director.
  • Organize and conduct projects and events under the supervision of the Director and/or Project Coordinator.
  • Attend in-state conferences, meetings, and marketing functions approximately 1–2 times per year.

Requirements

  • AA degree in psychology or closely related field. Candidate may substitute 8 years of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) experience in lieu of the degree.
  • Three years of experience in ABA therapy working with children who have autism and/or a developmental disability.
  • Ability to accurately maintain training records and files according to HIPAA regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to follow directions, take initiative, be flexible, multi-task under minimal supervision, and make critical decisions.
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures with minimal supervision and use judgment and discretion when precedents do not exist.
  • Ability to troubleshoot office administration problems and respond timely to inquiries related to the work area.
  • Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a variety of academic and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Experience using standard office software programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Experience working with compliance documentation and reporting.
