Assistant Project Coordinator
Job Description
Attends Owner, Architect, and Contractor (OAC) meetings to facilitate information flow between OAC and Clinical/Operations staff.
Manages multiple small construction projects simultaneously, overseeing project schedules, cost estimates, and contractor work.
Updates project files to ensure compliance with internal, local, state, and federal regulations, and prepares materials for audits.
Captures pre-construction activities, including reviewing existing conditions, schedules, budgets, and cost management.
Coordinates internal approval communications tools, project budget tracking forms, and other related documents.
Interfaces with contractors and hospital staff on utility interruptions, traffic control, safety, infection control, and plan changes during construction.
Aids in the development and distribution of construction bid packages.
Visits job sites frequently to evaluate and review project progress.
Files all project-related documents accurately and timely.
Ensures smooth and efficient operations of the Office of Design and Construction.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Knowledge of design and construction techniques [Required]
- Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
- Knowledge of healthcare design and construction techniques [Preferred]
- Proficient in e-Builder software program [Preferred]
- Proficient in Microsoft Project or similar project management system [Preferred]
Education
- Associate [Preferred]
- Field Of Study in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
Work Experience
- 3+ construction administration experience or equivalent combination of education and experience [Required]
- Experience with Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA, or equivalent state agency) construction requirements [Preferred]

- $19.76 - $36.75
