Responsibilities

Teach three courses or their equivalent per semester, including classes in Abnormal Psychology and related undergraduate offerings.

Provide graduate clinical training and supervision.

Take on leadership roles in the psychology department’s Mary Ainsworth in-house training clinic (these clinical training and leadership roles may be used to fulfill equivalent teaching requirements, as appropriate).

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Hold a PhD in clinical psychology and a clinical license in the state of Virginia by August 2026.
  • Experience providing clinical training and supervision to graduate students is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching Abnormal Psychology.
  • Experience in administrative leadership roles.
  • Experience providing clinical practicum support.
