About the Role
The Psychology Department at Marist University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology. Priority will be given to candidates with experience in biopsychology, cognitive neuroscience, industrial-organizational psychology, or sports psychology. The recently renovated Dyson building includes multiple psychology labs with dedicated spaces, participant running rooms, and equipment for cognitive, biological, social, and developmental research.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses within areas of expertise plus survey courses, research methods, and statistics.
- Develop and teach hands-on laboratory courses in a small liberal arts setting.
- Conduct ongoing research and mentor undergraduate research.
- Advise undergraduate students.
- Participate in departmental and university activities.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Psychology or related field by Fall 2027.
- University-level teaching experience preferred.
- Flexible regarding teaching assignments.
