About the role

The Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University invites applications for one tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Finance Department, beginning Fall 2027 and subject to budget approval. Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in Finance by September 1, 2027 and have an active research program with demonstrated potential to publish high quality research in peer-reviewed journals. All areas of finance will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Teach at either the Fairfield and/or Bridgeport campus in person and online.
  • Contribute to the department, school of business, university, community, and profession through service.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Finance by September 1, 2027.
  • Strong commitment to engaged teaching.
  • Demonstrated excellence in using technology in the classroom.
