Assistant Nurse Manager - Stepdown (Nights)

Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing departmental operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise staff including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development.Ensure departmental productivity aligns with overall operational goals and assist in developing staffing, revenue, and expense budgets.Provide patient care according to planned interventions, considering age and developmental needs, and document appropriately.Create and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.Monitor staff hours, approve payroll, coordinate staff communications, and manage staffing needs, including overtime and performance reviews.Conduct performance evaluations, recommend improvements, and handle disciplinary actions as needed. Qualifications & Skills RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.2-5 years of experience; 5-10 years preferred for advanced qualifications.Leadership experience preferred but not required. Additional Information: The role requires working four 10-hour night shifts. Preferred candidates may have charge or leadership experience.
